European Complement PhD Mobility Grant
In 2024, the ECN offers two European Complement PhD mobility grants for PhD students that would like to receive some funding towards a stay abroad in another laboratory for at least three months. The two grants are issued by the ECN board in cooperation with the EU doctoral programme CORVOS (www.corvos.eu), worth 3500 € each.
Here are the rules that apply:
- Only ECN members are elegible to apply.
- The PhD thesis of the candidate must be on a complement topic and the student's research work "is" OR "has been" OR "will be" performed in Europe for at least 3 months.
- The following documents will be needed to certify your eligibility:
a) An abstract of 250 words detailing the plan of the project and describing the necessity of staying abroad (all eligible applications will be shortlisted by the ECN board according to abstract scoring).
b) A recommendation letter from the supervisor of the PhD thesis
c) A recommendation letter from the potential academic host (specifying that the student will stay abroad in his/her lab for at least 3 full months under his/her supervision) - Your application has to be sent to Elena Goicoechea de Jorge ( egoicoec@ucm.es) till the deadline of 15th July 2024.
